Liverpool midfielder Lucas
Leiva admits he came close to joining Fiorentina at the end of last
season.
After their Champions League defeat last night, Lucas revealed:
"I can confirm that I was very close to moving to Tuscany, but then
nothing has happened. I do not know why.
"The Fiorentina I saw today was a strong team, especially in
midfield. We could not stop them. In the second half we tried to
attack but we were unlucky. At this point we have to win against
Lyon."
