Manchester City are believed
to be hot on the heels of Tottenham winger David Bentley.
Cashed-up City are prepared to part with £15million for the
England international, making a move away from White Hart Lane
imminent after just one year there.
With Spurs boss Harry Redknapp close to signing Martin Petrov
for £5million from City, it seems a deal for Bentley is
increasingly likely.
Everton, Aston Villa and Sunderland are also interested in Bentley but
Eastlands looks his likely destination if a deal can be done.
