David
James
Sulaiman Al Fahim watched his new team sink to the
bottom of the table in his first game as owner with a 1-0 home
defeat to Manchester City that leaves them pointless after four
games.
Things may be about to get worse for Hart, with
Croatian midfielder Niko Kranjcar a £5million target for Tottenham,
along with goalkeeper David James.
Hart said: "I will concede that we need a point but
we're building now when most clubs built three months ago.
"The club has been in limbo for the last three months
so to get an end to that would be a bonus for everybody and
hopefully we can begin to move forward now.
"We're still working on limited budgets like frees and
loans but we targeted a few people and I'm just keeping my fingers
crossed that they will be successful."
James missed this defeat with 'bone bruising' on his
knee.
Hart could not reassure fed-up fans that the England
keeper will be at Fratton Park when the transfer window shuts at
5pm tomorrow.
