Maradona: Barcelona's Messi better than me at same age

Argentina coach Diego Maradona says Barcelona ace Lionel Messi is better than he was at the same age.

"Lionel has overcome hurdles much faster than me. He has not had major injuries. I suffered at Barcelona with hepatitis, a broken ankle," said Maradona.

"At the same age, I was not as consistent as Messi."

but skills wise, maradona is much better than messi. maradona freekick and pinpoint crossing are so much better than messi, who seem to be one dimensional, that is dribbling and running. seldom see messi take freekick and passing to his team mates.
