Former Chelsea midfielder
Alexey Smertin is backing Yuri Zhirkov to knock Florent Malouda out
of the Blues first team once he's fully fit.
"I read recently in the French press and interview in which
(Florent) Malouda said Chelsea
suited him perfectly," said Smertin.
"The writer noted that the only thing that could seriously
disappoint Florent was the transfer of Zhirkov from CSKA. I
subscribe to this view."
