Arsenal might
have forgotten how to celebrate as they head towards the fifth
anniversary since winning a major trophy.
But their young first-team hit the town in force after claiming
the the mighty Emirates Cup with a 3-0 defeat of Scottish champions
Rangers on
Sunday.
Footballers' lives: Nicklas Bendtner meets a friend

Given the elbow: Bendtner and the mystery blonde part
ways
Fresh-faced Nicklas Bendtner was too young to get in
West End haunts when the Gunners lifted the FA Cup in
2005.
But the 21-year-old played a full part in celebrations after
helping the Gunners to pre-season 'glory' in the four-team
tournament that also included Atletico Madrid and Paris
Saint-Germain.
This time he kept his trousers up, unlike when he was pictured
with them round his ankles following defeat to Manchester United in
the Champions League semi-final in May.
He blamed that on a set-up, but was happy to return to the scene
of the embarrassment, the trendy Boujis nightclub.
The Denmark striker was tried down both wings in Saturday's 2-1
defeat of Atletico Madrid and came on as a sub during the romp
against Rangers, but found the energy to make a new blonde friend
at the south Kensington venue.
There was no sign of weekend star Jack Wilshere - the
17-year-old starlet was no doubt tucked up in bed - but the
fresh-faced diminutive Andrey Arshavin tried to look old enough to
get served in his jeans, Armani T-shirt and black jacket.
The Russia striker was voted player of the tournament despite
Wilshere picking up the man of the match awards on both days.
Perhaps the sponsors preferred a picture with popular Arshavin
rather than the little-known Wilshere.

Johan Djourou
Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas shielded himself from the
non-existant rain with a large baseball cap while Johan Djourou,
Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Mikael Silvestre were also seen
leaving the club.
The players have been handed Monday off before they star
preparing for their final pre-season match of the season:
Saturday's trip to David Villa's Valencia.
How will they celebrate if they finally claim a real honour this
season?
