Just wondering,is it possible to change Drum Brakes to Disc Brake,or the latter to Cross-drilled's?

Also,for the cross-drilled brake can a garage just drill a normal disc brake properly to transform to a Cross-Drilled?

Just thinking,cross-drilled brakes look really sporty compared to non's

yes u can convert drums to disk.. but i remember reading somewhere in the forum that it will affect yr insurance thingy.

and yes, you can cross-drill yr stock disk. it will look sporty... but if yrs stock is small... kinda difficult to notice. Laughing

or alternatively you can do slotted ones.

Cross-drilled rotors in the 1st place, is not used to look nice. And cross drilling yr stock rotor is very dangerous. I think no one does it. The drilling will cause structural damage and hairline cracks on your rotor.

Even on racing cars, real cross-drilled rotors are checked for cracks to prevent braking mishaps. The best way would probably go for big brake upgrade kits. More costly but its the correct way.

Slotted rotors are a better bet for street cars. More of a safety net and reassurance during hard braking rather than cosmetic purposes.
