Why England lack a top class goalie these days

marcteng SG

Robert Green, David James aka calamity James, Ben Foster, Scott Carson, Paul Robinson cant be counted as world class goalie.

James is already at the twilight if his career, so he wont be around for much longer, but he isnt a top class goalie in the first place.

Last time england got top goalies like gordon banks, peter shilton, david seaman. robinson, carson are only average goalie at best isnt it. why is it that england cant produce a top goalie these days?

I know he is su*k at Liverpool but since he left Liverpool. His handling and confident improves alot. That nick hardly fits him now. And yes, u are right. He won't be around much longer unless he can emulate Dino Zoff who still playing top class football at 42yrs old.

in the past, teams are willing to develop, now they need instant success.

Look @ foster at MUFC, he is a good prospect, but any mistakes will be hugely spotlight, and hence they won't develop.
