Liverpool boss
Rafa Benitez refuses to budge
over his valuation of Real
Madrid target Xabi Alonso.
While Real GM Jorge Valdano last night claimed that a deal for
Xabi could still be salvaged, Marca says Benitez refuses
to budge over his £40 million asking price for the midfielder.
Xabi is keen on a move to Madrid, but Benitez won't be pressured
into backing down.
