Cristiano Ronaldo has paid
tribute to his former Manchester
United manager Sir Alex
Ferguson.
"He's the master. He was my father in football. He has been
instrumental in my career, and outside of football," said
Ronaldo.
"Talent is not everything. You can have it, but you need to
learn this craft to be the best. When I came to England I was a lad
of 18 years. Mr Ferguson has taught me to refine my faults, namely
to give a pass at the last moment, to make the right decision in
the area."
