Dear Owen,

I won't lie to you; I'm one of the sceptics who think that your signing for Man U is a very big mistake on the part of Sir Alex Ferguson.

At the same time, though, I hope you'll prove me wrong and regain the form that you once had ten years ago.

Whichever way you look at it, I believed it represent a good deal for both parties... For Owen, he gets a chance to play in the top level again and for United, they get a player on the free, eager to prove himself but most of all, an experienced striker which they will need when the season gets under way... $20k, $50k, isn't a problem at all...

What traitor? He left Liverpool long ages ago for another club before Utd bought him now. Anyway, what's stopping Pool from snapping him up?

Anyway, being a Utd fan, i can say im pleasantly suprised we came in for Owen. I believe he will be an astute purchase by Ferguson.

As i mentioned before in my preivious post, he will be a valuable member of the team. But i believe Utd will not stop at Valencia and Owen. Expect 1 or 2 more arrivals soon.

I am excited for the new season to kick-off.

20k per week, rising up to 120k per week depending on performance. good deal man. i mean, he gets what he deserves if he regains his form, and he gets what he deserves if he's still perma-injured. shiok.

i believe owen will definitely prove once again that he is one of the best goalscorer of his generation at man united. Natural goalscoring instinct is something that one will never lose, no matter how injury prone or old he is.
