Barcelona will make an
opening offer for Liverpool
midfielder Javier Mascherano in the coming days.
The Times says Barcelona are set to test Liverpool’s resolve to
keep Mascherano by making a £25.7 million bid for the Argentina
midfield player this week.
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is reluctant to lose Mascherano and
is understood to rate the Argie closer to £35 million.
