David Moyes is confident Everton will be
'attractive' to the top players this summer as he looks to close
the gap on the Premier League's big four.
Everton have finished fifth in the table
for the past two seasons and Moyes is determined to break into the
UEFA Champions League places again, having achieved that feat in
2005.
"We didn't have the finances until late on last
year, so I'd like to get the money a bit earlier this time and do
some quicker deals," said Moyes.
"There is no reason why Everton should not be attractive to the
top players.
"The Premier League is popular all around the world and, if a
player isn't getting to the small group of teams above us, we are
one of the best stops after that.
"There's no doubt that the gap to the top four is there, but
everyone should hope we can break into that group.
"That might alter the whole dynamic of football because if it's
all just money, money, money we all know something is going to go
wrong in the future."
