Appealing to those living in hougang, esp Hougang Ave 3 area. Of all the blocks in the area, all are old buildings, but why is only block 8 closed?

everytime I take bus 72 pass that block, it gives me an eerie feeling, especially when I pass it at night….

Is that really the reason?? Then it is REALLY a bad choice because the canal is always clogg and full of dirty water, with rubbish float on it.
