Hi everyone,
Rationale why i'm penning into this thread is to send out a warning
notice to all abt purchasing used vehicles from ABWIN pte
ltd.
Purchased a 2003 model renault trafic from the above-mentioned
sometime in Feb. barely one mth into the acquisition, the van broke
down 2 times on road. had it sent back to the seller's sub-con
garage for "repair", only to find out that the "belt" was damaged
and had to be replaced.
2weeks after getting the van back, it broke down again. this time
emitting white smoke and the veh couldn't even go bey 20km/h.
had it towed back to the same garage only to hear from the salesman
that the "turbo" was spoilt, and had to be replaced. Van was sent
to Exclusiv Auto at my demand for a full diagnostics test.
Just only this morning, was inform by the sales man that the turbo
had been replaced w a new one. However, they suspected that the
engine might be damaged too, and MIGHT require a overhaul!
I fainted. Can anyone pls advise me on what legal action or what
stands I can make to enforce my right?
Shd the seller be allowed to go scot-free for selling me this pc of
junk?!?
And no warranties???
What got me boiling was the fact that the salesman (very prominent
in sg carmart) started shirking responsibility of the vehicle
condition and blaming the garage for not doin a good repair job.
Subsequently, he even tried to earn my sympathy by telling me that
the repair costs are burning a hole in his pocket, and that I will
need to understand that i bgt the van at my risk! Ridiculous!
*sob* Thank you for reading.
