Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is preparing a shock move for
Newcastle United midfielder Joey Barton.
The People says Redknapp, always on the lookout for a
bargain buy, will wait to see what Toon do after Barton's
suspension ends - he's been given a 14-day ban but told to stay
away after that.
Redknapp will face competition from Bolton and Blackburn but
will be willing to take a gamble if Barton is available on a free
this summer.
