Former Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard is convinced there is an
opening at Manchester City.
The Mail on Sunday says Rijkaard is being lined up as
Manchester City manager for next season if the billionaire owners
from Abu Dhabi decide that Mark Hughes is not equipped to steer the
club to Champions League qualification.
A source close to the 45-year-old Dutchman says that there are
'possibilities' regarding Manchester City, who would be able to
afford an offer of wages and funds in the transfer market that
would outbid any other team.
