Former Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has confirmed
that Angola have offered him the chance to return to
football.
The Brazilian tactician, who was shown the door at Stamford
Bridge last February after a disappointing spell in England, is
thinking about his future, with Angola getting in touch with the
highly-rated coach.
“Big Phil”, as he is dubbed, is yet to make up his mind, and he
has denied reports stating that he has already given the thumbs up
to Manucho’s side.
The 60-year-old remains a London resident and has been
linked to Championship club QPR, but he has refused to close the
door on the Angolan offer.
“It’s too early to say what I’ll do,” Scolari said.
“I can’t deny contact [with Angola], but there has been nothing
more than that.”
