Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has launched an extraordinary attack on English football.

The Chelsea hero has stunned Premier League fans by declaring to the Daily Star: "There may be three English teams in the Champions League semi-finals but there are hardly any English players in them.

"The English clubs' success is based almost entirely on foreign players.

"England even need an Italian coach to run the national team."

which team was with a team full of their locals when they win the Champion's League??? those days when Milan rules the world they have the Dutch to thanks for and French influence on Juventus is not small too...

but whatever said and compared everyone would still points out that English Teams had way too much foreigners in their lineup.. but alot had to do with the way their country's rules are being run.. and the way their marketing teams are selling their EPL.. they should instead pick themselves up and try to make good lost ground they had during their lowest point (kelong) in Itaian's league...

dukedracula SG

arsernal has the worst english player ratio, followed closely by liverpool….if the 6-5 policy gets through, they could be mid table teams….

sand king SG

I would love to see the 6-5 policy start soon, really, I feel the same way as Ranieri.

dragg SG

the current policy if not corrected will only affect england and its fans.

midfielders - Di Matteo(Italian), Wise(English) "cant rmb the other 2 MFs"

forwards - Zola(Italian), Vanli(Italian), Flo(Norwegien)
