Arsenal seriously need a new reserve keeper... This present one is terrible... 3rd min came out to meet the ball against Drogba then stand there like a stone to let Drogba head the ball pass him towards goal... Lucky got that young left-back to save them... Arsenal probably will lose cos of this fellow...

Just found out Fabianski was playing on his birthday.

Just found out Fabianski was playing on his birthday.

Can't really say Fabianski is to blame for today's loss. Having not played many matches this season and thrown into a big match like this. I'm sure he tried his best.

It's not like his defence managed to help him out. Both times the Chelsea player managed to beat the Arsenal man on him to score. Drogba I can still understand but Malouda?

Malouda is not big nor strong, neither does he dribble like Messi.

HiAy3Captain SG

haha seems like the finals is indeed going to be Chelsea Vs Man U !

Silvestre was crappy man, he gave up on Drogba so easily.

On that Silvestre vs Drogba part, I think he had to stop as from his view, he could probably see the keeper rushing out towards them and had he not stop, he might have bang into the on rushing keeper... I still felt the keeper should have stayed back and leave it to the defender to pressure Drogba and pushed him to the side to make the angle harder while he will have a better chance of blocking the ball had he stayed on his line or came out earlier to meet the ball if he wanted to come out...

Arsenal didn't lose because of tactics, but rather... too many injured first team defenders and a lack of an able keeper... In other words, midfield and forward were up to the mark but inexperienced in their defending...

fabianski is the fat version of fabregas.

they look alike.

Fabianski Howler Hands It To Chelsea

Arsene Wenger branded the Wembley pitch "laughable" and "a disaster" after watching Arsenal lose to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final.

Although the Gunners chief stressed he was not blaming the surface for his side's defeat, it seemed to cut up quite badly and hardly aided their passing game.

The FA have had problems with the pitch since the new stadium opened just over two years ago. Yet today was only the fifth time the present rye grass pitch has been used and it is not due to be taken up again until the summer, before which it will host the three Football League play-offs, the FA Cup final and England's World Cup qualifier with Andorra.

Watching Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson would hardly have been impressed either given the Red Devils must face Everton on it on Sunday.

"It is not a pitch for a stadium like that," declared Wenger. "You spend all that money on the stadium and still have no pitch. "It is laughable. The quality of the pitch is a disaster."

Wenger claimed it was equally disruptive for Chelsea, although the Blues manager Guus Hiddink did not feel there was a problem.

"It was OK," said the Dutchman. "If you go to a lot of places in Europe and Africa you get pitches that are a lot worse than that. "I don't think you should start talking about the pitch, whether you win or lose. It was fine to play on."
