Blackburn star El-Hadji Diouf has quit
international football for a second time.
Diouf has informed the Senegalese Football Federation he no
longer wants to be considered for the national team.
The 28-year-old had previously retired from international
football in October 2007 after a bust-up with the coaching staff,
but he later reversed his decision.
Diouf, who has won 41 caps for his country, has written to the
Senegalese Federation to inform them of his decision to end his
international career.
"(In a letter to the CNF) El-Hadji Diouf explained that he was
no longer available for international competition and that he is
suspending his career," said spokesman Ndeye Dome Thiouf.
"He has retired from internationals, but will continue to play
club football in England."
