Birmingham City have been offered AC Milan star Ronaldinho!
In her diary for The Sun, Birmingham City managing
director Karren Brady wrote: "'Here’s an idea,' says an agent — a
smooth type who stresses that he thinks my club will be promoted to
the Premier League in May.
“'Do something to excite your fans. You should let me negotiate
with Ronaldinho for him to come to Birmingham.' I ask if he thinks
I was born yesterday. 'No, no,' he replies, 'I believe he would
come. Do you know he sells more shirts than Beckham?'
"Well, he might have six or seven years ago.
“'And,' he says, pausing for dramatic effect, 'he is no longer
fat.' What a salesman."
