Liverpool ace Fernando Torres exchanged verbals with Real Madrid
defender Pepe during Tuesday's 4-0 victory.
Marca says comments made by Pepe before the game about
knowing how to keep Torres quiet had the Reds striker burning in
the lead-up to the big game.
During the intense dual, Pepe decided to taunt Torres with "we
have won nine European Cups", to which the Spanish striker replied:
"Yeah, but you haven't won any of them!"
Torres, upon opening the scoring, also made a gesture to the
television cameras with his hands and it's suggested he was sending
a message to Real president Vicente Boluda, who had been busy
talking about how they would win both legs of the Champions League
tie.
