Barcelona strike personal terms with Ribery

Bayern Munich ace Franck Ribery has agreed personal terms with Barcelona, it has been revealed.

El Mundo Deportivo says Ribery, through his representatives, has settled on the length and size of his contract with Barca. Sources say the deal is for four years and will make the Frenchman the best paid player at the Nou Camp.

Ribery is the man Barca coach Pep Guardiola wants, though sports director Txiki Begiristain still faces a tough task convincing Bayern to part with their star man.

If anyone who shoud be the best paid player in barca, it should be messi and not ribery.

Class-wise, messi wins him.

skills, messi win.

courage, messi win.

dribbling, messi.

I am not saying ribery sucks, but he jus cannt be the highest paid player la. Anyway i wan messi to come to united. LOL

cannot agree more.

haha. messi will join the pool of loyal players like valdes, puyol, xavi and iniesta, if he remains top notch throughout.

otherwise, no chance of any clubs prising him away.

just curious, do you settle transfer fees first then personal terms or vice versa?
