During last night’s loss to UEFA Cup defending champs Zenit in
the frozen tundra of St. Petersburg, Jens had a moment reserved for
Mad Jens and Mad Jens alone. He found Khalid Boulahrouz’s headband
so offensive that he ripped it off and fired it at the frightened
ball boys, who may or may not have wet their pants at the sight of
Mr. Hyde.
Why did Jens remove the headband? Your guess is probably as good
as his. But there’s certainly only one man alive with the gumption
to do such a thing to a guy nicknamed “Khalid the
Cannibal”.
