jus now i was listening to this particular station's morning
show.
they were talking about SARS virus.
this particular guest, their sister tv channel artiste,(they have
two tv stations and they are not mediacorp's)
start to say about how much thanks she has for the medical staffs
in singapore for caring for the patients down with sars, risking
their lives in doing so. fine. i was so how touch by her.
then when the guy compere asked if she has any assignments for the
next few days, she said she had to do interviews with the nurses
and doctors, although not directly related to SARS, she commented
on the fear for them , perhaps even harbouring the tot of wearing
protective gears while doing interviews and even to the exend on
not going.
she has even commented that if she walk pass a nurse in uniform,
she would jus smile and hold her breathe and quickly walked
away.
wat the fish! for christ sake!!! double
standards!!!
then the guy compere was also same kind, they were commenting on
the topic on going forward to shake hands of the medical staffs for
their hard work and relentless efforts for saving lives in this
outbreak of SARS, they said SIAO. wat for risk getting infected!
i'm severly sadden by their thinking and i have decide to boyscott
their program , for fear of getting infected by their
unkind tots..
then when the compere was reporting the news, her voice could be
heard in the back ground saying a hokien vugarity, du
lan!!
can somebody in that particular station pls take some actions
against her!
to add, i have a neighbour who is a nurse at TTS and whenever i see
her, whether in uniform or not, i felt to thankful to them.
lastly i would like to convey my heartfelt thank yous to the
doctors and medical staffs fighting for the lives of all of us
especially those infected with SARS. thank you guys.
