Chelsea have said they are unlikely to sign a
replacement for Joe Cole and rubbished any suggestions that John
Terry would leave.
The Blues will be without the services of Cole for the rest
of the season after he damaged his cruciate ligament in the FA Cup
replay against Southend.
Florent Malouda and Salomon Kalou began the game on the wings
for Luiz Felipe Scolari's side but he said that despite an apparent
lack of options on the wings at Stamford Bridge.
"I don't think we will buy now we have lost Joe Cole for the
season," Scolari said. "I follow what the club decide.
"It is not my business to sell or buy, it is the business of
Peter Kenyon."
Scolari dismissed speculation suggesting that the England
captain could leave the club he has spent all his career at
though.
"Maybe some clubs want John Terry," Scolari added. "Ask John if
he wants to go - 'no'. Why? Because he loves Chelsea.
"When you love Chelsea you stay here and finish."
