Liverpool keen to offload £7m flop

zocoss SG

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is ready to cut his losses on Italian full-back Andrea Dossena - just six months after signing the £7million flop.

Dossena has failed to establish himself at Liverpool and Benitez is ready to accept a big loss on the Italy international.

AC Milan are one of several clubs interested in taking him back to Serie A..

I also agree Riise is pro than him at least Riise can scored goals

Medicated Oil SG

He is not played regularly and most players would need time to settle down at BPL.

So, I dun really feel that he is a flop.

A flop would be like Sissoko.

I definitely love the goal for Chelsea!

limpper SG

i prefer the one riise scored against man utd, years back. from a free-kick, straight into the goal.
liverpool won 4-1 or 4-0 for that match.

Strange enough, the players that left have not made a name for themselves after they left anfield.

So, did ah ben make the right decision to kill them ?

Except for Cisse, Anelka and Bellamy.

3-1 nia lah.

Owen also scored in that match. Barthez played his usual role in that match - as a clown.

He is too slow to play in BPL...He was the reason why Hull scored 2 the other day...Phil Brown must have knew Liverpool's weakest link..and that is Dossena. He was torn apart by Mendy.

friend,

don act smart, im not talking abt that match you're thinking of.

that time rafa haven take over.

if you cannot take your team losing, and think that 24/7 they will win,
you're a joke then.

Oh so u're talking abt AFTER rafa taken over.. that one lagi no impression. In fact i do not recall liverpool scoring 4 against manutd for more than a decade, only rem a few times when united trounced pool, one time 4-0.

Care to help the forumers recall the memory of the game with liverpool 4 manutd 1/0 scoreline?

limpper SG

yup.
since rafa took over, we had been losing to the devils who are playing real good football.
out of so much meetings between rafa & fergie, it's a fact that fergie had a better winning side.
then?

i admit my defeat to the devils, for what they achieved for the past yrs, are great.
but we arent any way far behind too.

lol, i don understand your tone anw, seems LOL.

Chill man... sorry for my tone if it sounded offensive, didnt mean to, just want to set the facts right.

Btw to avoid further misunderstandings, i'm not a man utd fan, despite what my nick suggests.

As a neutral observer, i think Rafa has done a great job since taking over from houlier in terms of turning the style of play into something more watchable, which can't be said during the houllier days. They have also done a great job this season in giving chelsea and manu a run for their money in the title race. Well done.

limpper SG

yup, indeed your tone sounded offensive, as if you're in looking for troubles. lol.
but that doesnt matter since no misunderstanding had been created. =)

we all come here to chat and enjoy right?

rafa indeed had done a very good job in turning liverpool to what is it today, but, as a liverpool fan myself, i expected much more better performances for the cash he spent, which is more than the devils.

since i had been a liverpool fan since the age of 9, i will still be one for the future =)
with all the needed due respect for the other top teams.

We do not need Dossena when we have Insua and Aurelio...
