Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari is planning a shock
£10million plus move for Marseille star Hatem Ben Arfa in a bid to
add some French flair to his side.

Scolari wants an inventive talent to put extra sparkle into his
team, especially in home games where dropped points have hit their
title hopes. And Ben Arfa, 21 but already a French international,
is the man he sees arriving at Stamford Bridge in the window if he
can persuade Marseille to sell.
Ben Arfa only joined Marseille from Lyon in the summer but he
could be tempted by Chelsea - and a big pay rise. Scolari feels his
team have gone stale at home and are too easy to shut out. It would
mean reshaping the way they play but he knows what is needed.
Ben Arfa has already played in the Champions League so is
ineligible for Chelsea's campaign, but it is the stuttering title
bid that concerns Scolari.
