(he has since shaven his head clean and neat already)
Stephen Ireland produced a goal and a man of the match
performance in Manchester City's 5-1 victory over Hull City
yesterday.
Ireland’s goal was his seventh in the league and ninth of the
season overall, and he earned a standing ovation when coming off
after making the score 5-1
His performance manager Mark Hughes said: “I thought we saw the
complete midfield performance from Stephen.
"His understanding of the game, his ability to pick the right
pass and pick out his team mates in good areas and score goals is
outstanding. I was glad to give him the chance to get an ovation by
taking him off before the end.”
