Hi fireice,
I've been looking through JobStreet, indeed, LinkedIn, stjobs,
agencies, etc for graphic designing jobs. I feel that my
expectations aren't high because at least a $2k for diploma full
time job isn't too much right? I have previous experience in
designing, a portfolio and a recent employee even told me my works
"look good" but eventually after emailing and texting multiple
times to ask for the outcome she told me that I wasn't
shortlisted.
I'm worried now because I have a 3 month gap of unemployment and
if I take up some random job I will be back to square 1 eventually
and drifting further away from my goal.
when you applied job, do you meet their criteria? things like,
education, related expereince, salary or even location?
also, you dont only need to work for others, you can always do
free lance, graphic design should be able to... i mean at least try
to find something to do since the only thing you are doing now is
sending resume and prolly free... you never know it might just work
out for you
