Prodigal son: Barcelona say all is forgiven
and want Fabregas to leave Arsenal
As if Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger didn't have enough
on his plate right now, it has been reported that his star player,
Cesc Fabregas, will become the subject of a renewed £30 million bid
from Barcelona.
According to the Star, Barca will do 'whatever it takes' to get
their man, and have made the 21-year-old the club's No 1 target
next summer.
And, it seems that, following a board meeting earlier this week,
the Catalan giants are prepared to start the process of
luring him to Spain
immediately.
Fabregas has previously said he would like to return to the Nou
Camp, and a source is quoted in the Star as saying: "His departure
for England has been completely forgotten. (Gerard) Pique returned
to Barcelona and now we want Fabregas back. It will take a lot of
money, but he will be the No 1 priority."
