Chelsea hit-man Nicolas Anelka would be absolutely
delighted to partner Didier Drogba up front as part of a 4-4-2
system.
France international Anelka has been at the top of his game this
season, scoring decisive goals for his club and country, while
Drogba remains sidelined through injury.
The number 39 understands striker Drogba will be back in action
in the near future, after damaging his knee in Cluj, and he would
jump at the chance of playing alongside him.
"Didier and I can play together but we have not done that since
I have been here," said Anelka.
"We have never started together up front. If we have started
together then I was either on the right or left.
"So it's a shame, because I wanted to play with him when I first
signed with Chelsea, but I hope it will happen. I think it could
work with the two of us. But it's the choice of the manager."
