Karim Benzema has stated he will play for either
Barcelona or Real Madrid next season.
Reiterating his desire to leave French champions Lyon, the
highly-rated 20-year-old would like to develop his promising talent
in La Liga.
Benzema has been linked too with a move to Manchester United but
it is Spain that holds the greatest allure.
“My future? I like Spain,” Benzema told Stade 2 in France. “Next
year I will play for either Barca or Madrid.”
The striker also described as ‘ridiculous’ the suggestion by
critics that he has yet to prove himself at the highest level.
He added: “Some people say that I’m not at the right level. How
ridiculous! I have a lot to learn and am still growing. I’m only 20
and I’m trying to become better.”
