CSKA Moscow star Alan Dzagoev has stated he would rather
join Chelsea than Real Madrid, after having been linked to both
clubs.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder scored a double in the Uefa
Cup clash with Deportivo La Coruna, in front of Real’s scouts, and
is believed to be on the champions’ shopping list.
But when interviewed about a possible move to the Santiago
Bernabeu, attacking midfielder Dzagoev revealed his admiration for
Luiz Felipe Scolari’s Blues.
“I am hopeful of remaining at CSKA Moscow for many years to
come,” Dzagoev told Sport Express. “There are many examples of
players who moved abroad at a young age and then returned.
“The club that I fancy is Chelsea, and I have been following
them for four years now.”
