Tottenham Hotspur manager Juande Ramos believes
new signing Roman Pavlyuchenko is close to being the 'complete
footballer'.
Russia international striker Pavlyuchenko sealed his move to
Spurs from Spartak Moscow on the final day of the transfer window
for a fee in the region of £14million.
Pavlyuchenko was a prolific goalscorer in Russia's Premier
League and also shone for his country at this summer's European
Championship.
Ramos is thoroughly looking forward to working with his new
acquisition and is hopeful the 26-year-old can replicate his
previous form at White Hart Lane.
Ramos said in The Sun: "He is almost the complete
footballer. He can do different jobs - he can play with his back to
goal, he can win it in the air.
"Our job is to make sure he can achieve the same level with us
as he has demonstrated with Russia.
"I hope he gives us the same goals and intensity he showed in
Euro 2008."
