The Tottenham faithful were treated to an impressive
display with Bentley starring in his first home appearance.
Bentley opened the scoring with a free-kick and Bent
continued his fine pre-season form by slotting home the second.
Dimitar Berbatov was handed a start by Juande Ramos but
it was the Spaniard's £17million summer signing who stole the
show.
Bentley drove home his second of the game on the stroke
of half-time and Aaron Lennon struck five minutes after the
restart.
Bent rounded off the scoring when he bundled home his
second as Spurs dominated the second half.
