Chelsea's 23-year old Brazilian rear-guard, Alcides first
arrived in Europe in 2003, from Brazilian side Vitoria, playing a
handful of games for Schalke, before eventually joining the West
London club.
The Stamford Bridge side, however, seem keen on shipping Alcides
out on loan. Perhaps they view the Sao-Paulo born defender as
having a better chance of first team football at clubs such as
Benfica, then PSV, and now Ukranian side; Dnjepr
Dnjepropetrovsk.
He is expected to return to London at the end of the year.
