Arsenal have made a dip in the transfer market by
wrapping up a deal for midfielder Amaury Bischoff.
Gunners chief Arsene Wenger has been relatively circumspect in
the transfer market, with Bischoff becoming his fourth signing
of the summer.
The Portugal Under-21 international has been brought to England
from Germany, where he had been playing for Werder Bremen.
The Bundesliga side attempted to tie the 21-year-old to a new
deal, but he had set his heart on forging a career in England with
Arsenal.
Bischoff has made the trip to Austria to link up with the club
on their pre-season tour and it appears the midfielder will be
given the chance to stake a claim for a first-team place.
