Germany.
The 6ft 1in defender has made 29 senior appearances for his
country, scoring three goals - including two in a 5-0 Euro 2008
qualifying win over San Marino in November.
He came through the junior ranks at Inter Bratislava before
joining Czech side Sparta Prague in 2004.
A move to Porto followed just 12 months later where he became
part of the side to win the last three Portuguese league
