Nicolas Anelka and £9m will be enough for Chelsea to bring David
Villa to Stamford Bridge for next season.
Salvador Gonzales earlier had said it would have to be a very
special offer from Chelsea to lure Villa away to London—but Rafeal
Morera (executive director in charge at Valencia) confirmed Chelsea
owner Roman Abramovich was considering the offer.
"We have had talks, we have to see what comes of them," said
Morera.
David Villa, meanwhile, is excited by the prospect of moving to
London to play for Chelsea.
"It's where the real football is played. If Valencia have to
sell me to regain money, I will accept that," revealed Villa.
Chelsea are currently linked with many high profile players
including Sergio Ramos, Sergio Aguero, Ricardo Quaresma, Micah
Richards, Lionel Messi, Giovanni Dos Santos besides David
Villa.
The Blues have already captured Porto's Jose Bosingwa for
£16.6m.
