Chelsea have offered Deco a three-year contract
work £92,000 a week after tax, according to
reports.
The Evening Standard claims that the Blues are prepared
to offer massive wages to stop the Portuguese midfielder joining
his old boss Jose Mourinho at Inter Milan.
Reports earlier on Monday morning suggested that the deal will
be concluded this week, with Deco becoming Phil Scolari's first
signing with a £12m switch.
That move is likely to be followed by the exit of Frank Lampard
to Inter Milan.
