Homage to Catalonia? Alexander Hleb's future may soon be
known
Barcelona are hoping to confirm the signing of
Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb this week, according to the
Spanish press. The Barcelona-based newspaper, Sport, has reported
that the Belarus international is one of three high-profile targets
that the club would like to secure in the next few
days.
The paper indicates that the "days are numbered" for
negotiations surrounding Hleb, and said the 27-year-old wants to
leave the London club "to win titles."
Hleb, who has also been linked with Real Madrid, was
reportedly "most seduced" by Barca.
Another Barcelona newspaper, El Mundo Deportivo, has
reported that a deal between the club and the striker has been
agreed and it is just a matter of confirming the details with
Arsenal.
