omgukilledkenny SG Liverpool goalkeeper Jose Reina has claimed the Premier League's golden gloves award for the third season in succession.
fatone SG wah serious bo? i was expecting vds, cech or david james to win.imo, david james has really been outstanding this season.
omgukilledkenny SG o..its cause he got the most clean sheets.Edit : " With 17 clean sheets from 37 Premier League games this term, Reina is one ahead of James, who has been ruled out of this weekend's fixtures with a calf injury. "
glacer SG I guess this award is awarded by looking at the amount of clean sheets not by performance, IMO, base on performance, James should claim the award..Cech this season had some howlers so don't think he deserved it this season. Reina is lucky as he has a solid defence to count on and he's not bad as a goalkeeper too but James prevented Portsmouth from losing some important matches single-handedly. But Reina aint a bad winner either..congrats to Reina..
zocoss SG I think the other goalkeepers all had injury periods which kept them out of many matches... Reine seemed like the only one that don't get injured and played most of Pool's matches... Well, anyway he is quite a decent keeper lah...
redDUST SG for all the frill awards, liverpool needs to win some serious stuff, like the premiership.
