KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 26 (Reuters) - Singapore striker Noh Alam
Shah has been denied the chance to play for Malaysian Super League
team Police this season because of his one-year ban, local media
reported on Saturday.
The Football Association of Malaysia said the one-year ban issued
by world soccer's governing body FIFA is binding on all national
bodies.
Noh Alam was banned from Singapore competitions for a violent
on-pitch attack on Tampines Rovers team mate Daniel Bennet during a
cup final in November.
The 28-year-old, who was part of the Singapore team that won the
last two Asean Football Federation Championships, finished top
scorer and was also named Most Valuable Player in the 2007
competition.
