SAM ALLARDYCE is tracking Arsenal midfielder Lassana
Diarra.
The Newcastle chief wants to add some creativity to his midfield
and has targeted the 22-year-old French ace.
Diarra only arrived at the Emirates in the summer from Chelsea but
has made just 13 appearances so far.
Allardyce has limited funds but is set to tempt Arsene Wenger with
a £2.5m bid.
Portsmouth are also keen with Diarras agent letting it be known
that the midfielder is unhappy in North London.
He has played twice against Toon this season, featuring in the 2-0
Carling Cup win and in a 1-1 league draw on Tyneside.
A Diarra move could signal the exit of Emre, who is wanted by
Bayern Munich, Galatasaray and Monaco.
