Liverpool's Norwegian left-back John Arne Riise could be heading
for Spain if Valencia manager Ronald Koeman gets his way.
According to the Daily Mirror, Valencia boss Ronald Koeman has
launched a £4million bid to sign Liverpool defender John Arne
Riise.
Although Rafael Benitez wants to keep 27-year-old Riise at Anfield,
the struggling Spanish giants have targeted him as a top priority
to help turn fortunes around at the Mestalla.
Koeman, the recently appointed boss of Los Che, explained: "He is a
player with experience and would offer some options for our
game."
And Valencia's sporting director, Miguel Angel Ruiz, was quoted in
the Mirror as saying: "We want to improve our squad."
