Syria qualifies 9-1 on aggregate.

Shocked

Potential dangerous rival to avoid.

Short Ninja SG

I hope not. These two teams are real scary to play with in any competition.I hope SIngapore kena Japan anyway Osim is in a comatose now so there is a big confusion here.Korea dont look too strong either in the past few months.

Deunamist SG

we should play the top teams actually. will show us whether we really deserve to qualify for the WC.

LazerLordz SG

My bad, Syria beat Indonesia 7-0 (11-1 on agg)

No. worst possible draw is 2. Uzbekistan. They are not only big-sized, they are also fast and they totally dominated china in the asian cup. They also dominated saudi arabia but lose out to some lucky counterattacks from saudis.

LazerLordz SG

Uzbekistan – Maxim Shatsikh.

Iran is a very technical side and they didnt even need to try hard and they will be able to hold south korea to a draw.

South korea was very weak in the last asian cup. They ran so hard but hardly create any chances. If south korea didnt improve, i think they are the easiest in pot A. But erm singapore isnt a fast team so they will still get owned most likely. Confused

Aussies are big and strong: they can just bully their way into the singapore goal. Brett emerton, tim cahill can easily rape singapore.

LazerLordz SG

However, out of the three, Australia's defence has been shown to be weak.

Look at the times we waltzed into their box, and their inability to acclimatise to SEA weather.

HyuugaNeji SG

I think the best is to dont care what opponents you are gonna get. Just tear all the 3 teams apart when you are at home and secure all 9points. Woot, Qualify!

Short Ninja SG

I agree ,this team is one of the best in Asia and had they made it to the final of the Asia Cup they would have given the Iraqis hell.Although Singapore cant hide but Uzbekistan is the team to avoid.
