BARCELONA have targeted Jose Mourinho as the man to revive their
season now Frank Rijkaard has lost his grip on the team.
The Catalan club lost to Getafe last weekend to lie four points
adrift of La Liga leaders Real Madrid.
A poll of fans showed the majority would support Mourinhos
appointment. And he has won backing from Albert Ferrer, the former
Chelsea and Barcelona defender.
He said: If Rijkaard is sacked the club have to bring in a strong
character. The first name which comes into my head is
Mourinho.
