Juventus are preparing an offer for Hamburg midfielder Rafael Van
der Vaart, according to Tuttosport.
The Dutch star is one of the most highly-rated midfielders in
Europe and has also recently been linked with a move to Real
Madrid, Valencia and Chelsea.
The 24-year-old, who has had a sensational start to the new German
season with seven goals in his first nine games, is available for
the modest sum of 12m.
Juventus director of sport Alessio Secco is said to be a huge
admirer of the player and is prepared to fork out eight to 10
million to bring him to Turin.
Van der Vaarts preferred destination is said to be Spain, and his
favourite club as a young boy was Barcelona.
